Cats are extraordinary, mysterious animals. Cats are sometimes proud and unapproachable, sometimes affectionate and gentle. We have a cat Tishka living at home. We love him very much, study him, take care of him. I learned a lot about cats and want to share my knowledge with you.

Traditional feeding is usually understood as a method of feeding cats in which the cat menu uses natural products (meat, fish, vegetables, etc.) prepared specifically for the animal, taking into account the requirements of cat nutrition. The daily diet should be such that the cat eats with appetite, does not get fat, does not get sick, shines with happiness and pleases the eye with its beauty. All cats should be given vitamins and mineral supplements from time to time. Cats have much more social contact in their lives than one might think, and they communicate with each other using a language of sounds and body movements. I love my cat, Tishka, very much. He greets me from school, purrs loudly and rubs his legs. Tishka sleeps on the chair or at my feet.

In addition to the cat, I also have a turtle, her name is Matryona. It is small, about 14-15 cm in size, and weighs about 300 grams. Turtles are among the animals that can go without food for a very long time, even several days. You can determine whether a turtle wants to eat by its behavior. Matryona begins to move restlessly and approaches the place where she is usually fed. During the winter, Matryona sleeps a lot and is not active. And in the summer I always take it out into the sun, as it is very useful. Turtles have no teeth at all, but they have very sharp jaws. The turtle has been living with me for 6 years, and in general she is now about 8 years old.

Having learned about my hobby and desire to explore the world of aquarium fish, my parents gave me an aquarium. Now we have 2 aquariums - with a capacity of 80 and 50 liters. The aquarium with a capacity of 80 liters is divided into 2 parts by glass. In one part live 2 goldfish, in the other 3 angelfish. In another aquarium live swordtails, guppies and catfish.

Everyone dreams of seeing a goldfish as a child! And make a cherished wish. At least one thing... But having acquired an aquarium, you need to know that we take on a lot of worries that require special knowledge. You need to know a lot about fish: their behavior, morals, compatibility.

Arrangement of the aquarium - thoroughly rinse the aquarium with warm water. After that, install it on level ground. Let’s “settle down.” After this, we fill the aquarium with soil, 7-10 cm in size. The aquarium must have shelters, thickets of plants, stones, and snags. The water is saturated with air using a microcompressor. The water in the aquarium is constantly polluted by waste from fish and plants. We clean the aquarium with a plastic tube with an expander at the end or install a filter. A modern aquarium requires clean tap water. Before filling the aquarium, let the water sit for two days to remove excess air and chlorine.

According to the type of food, fish are divided into peaceful and predatory, or herbivorous, carnivorous and omnivorous. I give food to the fish little by little, but often. I feed the fish 2 times a day with dry worms, morning and evening. The feeding place is permanent. The most important thing is to disturb the inhabitants of the aquarium less and limit yourself to only the necessary interference in their lives.

Simple maintenance procedures include checking: tightness, temperature conditions, serviceability of equipment, water transparency, appearance and activity of fish. All work inside the aquarium should be carried out calmly, without rushing, and limited to only the most necessary operations. We change the water once every 2-3 weeks, my dad helps me with this.

I have both large and small fish in my aquarium. Big fish like to lie down and swim, while small fish like to hide behind the castle and push shells. They behave actively.

Most of all I like goldfish, or rather their subspecies Veiltail. It got its name from its long caudal fin, consisting of two fused blades hanging down in the form of a veil. They are very beautiful. I can watch them swim for a long time. Sometimes a large fish will swim close to the glass and freeze, look at me, then suddenly swim away. I think they recognize me!
