How to care for a poodle

Michelle is my dog. They called her that because she is a French breed - a toy poodle, and her name is also French. When I was about to start first grade, my dog died. We all cried and worried for a very long time, but one day we came to visit our old friend, at that time her dog gave birth to two cute puppies, we really liked one of them and we simply could not refuse him. It was a girl, she was so small, so pretty and such a beautiful apricot color, but she was so cocky. When we came to pick her up, she started barking at us in her thin voice, but when she realized that we wanted to pick her up, she ran into another room and hid behind a chair, and we couldn’t get her for a very long time. She, like all people, has her own passport - a certificate of origin, where her entire pedigree is written. I have been watching my dog grow for 3 years now. She is so funny and amusing, she spins like a top when you want to pick her up, but I still can’t catch her. When I go for a walk with her, she barks at everyone, and I can’t calm her down. We call her affectionately - Mishka, because she is very similar to a bear if she is not trimmed for a long time. In general, once every 2 months we take her to the dog hairdresser and then she becomes a real royal poodle with a beautiful hairstyle - Michelle. We play different games with her, just like 2 years ago, as if she were still a puppy. When I eat, she jumps on my lap and tries to steal the meat from me. She, like all our girls, has a sweet tooth - she simply loves candy, chocolate and condensed milk. When mom is at work, she misses her very much, and when mom comes into the door, Michelle starts jumping and squealing with joy. She gives her paw to everyone, follows various commands, and is easy to train.

The ancestors of modern poodles were used for herding sheep and hunting. These dogs have an excellent sense of smell: in France they are trained to search for truffle mushrooms growing underground.

Michelle is extremely mobile, agile, and jumping. She quickly learns everything that her owner wants from her. And she chose her mother as her master.

Her coat requires careful daily care. We comb the dog with a comb of a special design - with sparse metal teeth, round in cross-section - and with a brush with many thin metal bristles curved at the ends, attached to a rubber base. Michelle does not shed, so there is no litter from her at home.

There are three varieties of poodles: large, with a height of 45 to 57.99 cm, Small - 35-45 cm, and miniature (dwarf) - from 28 to 35 cm.

Small and miniature poodles are just fun, living toys.

Poodles have the most varied coat colors: black, white, blue, dark and light brown, fawn, golden, and in small and dwarf poodles - silver and apricot. I dream that when Michelle has puppies, her mother will allow us to keep another dog, because they are so funny and funny.
